Scrap-It-Girl's "April Showers Bring May Flowers" Challenge

It's hard to believe that it's already May!! I have been craaaaazy busy lately...with the end of our school year close at hand, we are knee deep in end-of-year testing. On top of that, Mike and I helped Justin move into and set up his new apartment last weekend, so I haven't had time to craft or even read/leave comments on my favorite blogs. Sorry! I hope to be back on a regular schedule soon!

With that being said, I wanted to share a quick post with you before I head out the door to work this morning. Above is a photo of the card that I made for the Scrap-It-Girl May Challenge. The theme for month's challenge, (which is being hosted by my blog pal Lisa who is also a design team member for Scrap-It-Girl), is "April Showers Bring May Flowers". During the month of May you can enter up to three projects featuring flowers at the Scrap-It-Girl site to be eligible to win this wonderful prize from Lisa:

The May prize package includes Close To My Heart’s May Special - the Dotty For You paper pack, Filigree Charms set, Soft Suede Pinwheels, Sparkles, an assortment of paper and crochet flowers, nine sheets of Die Cuts & Close To My Heart’s May Stamp of the Month stamp set (not shown). Just think of all the fabulous projects that you could make with these goodies!! Be sure to check out Lisa's blog HERE...you will definitely want to see the layout that she created for this challenge - it's STUNNING!!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of the fantastic projects that you'll be creating, so be sure to click HERE to link up your project(s) to be eligible to win the prize!! I have some additional projects in the works using flowers, but I haven't had the time to finish them up yet. Stay tuned for upcoming posts which will highlight these projects!

Have a terrific day!

  1. Hey Blog Buddy! I hear that crazy busy thing. I'm just getting around to the blogs again and the award - thank you! Moving always takes more out of you than what you expect - I hope Justin likes his new place. :) Love the little key on your card today! It's the perfect touch.

    Take care,
    Gloria
