Scrapbook Page of the Week..."Good Times"

Happy Friday, All! Above is a two-page layout that I created using the Visual Texture layout pattern from Jeanette Lynton's book Cherish: Scrapbook Layouts Made Beautifully Simple. (Her "How-To" books, shown in the photo to the right, are FANTASTIC...please contact me if you'd like to order one for only $21.95 plus tax and shipping!)

The paper I used is from the CTMH Perfect Day paper pack. Cardstock colors used are Cocoa, Sorbet, and Colonial White which has been sponged with Sorbet ink. On the edges of the Sorbet Cardstock I used Chocolate ink to stamp the zig-zag stitches from the Simply Stitches stamp set, which is one of my favorite stamp sets of all time!! The flower and leaf stamps are from the With Love stamp set and were stamped using Vineyard Berry and Sweet Leaf ink on Colonial White cardstock, and then cut out and attached using 3-D dots. The "Good Times" lettering was cut from Juniper cardstock using a Sizzix Funky Brush die set. The brown stitched ribbon and buttons came from Hobby Lobby. The mini White Daisy rick rack and the natural hemp are from CTMH.

Happy Scrappin'!!
