Earlier this summer my friend Carolyn gave me a start of a moonflower plant from her garden. At first I was a little worried that it might not survive due to the terribly hot weather that we've been having. I shouldn't have worried, because this plant has not only survived but thrived in the corner flower bed of my back yard! Check it out:
The 3 decorative birdhouses on stakes, the trellis, and one of the golden euonymus plants can't even be seen now! The GORGEOUS white flowers open up each night and then close again in the morning - soooo lovely!
Thanks, Carolyn, for sharing this pretty plant with me - it looks great in the corner of my yard!
Oh wow! It sure has thrived and it is absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you just planted that this summer! It is beautiful.
