It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Last weekend Mike and I decorated our home for Christmas, so I thought I'd share a few photos with you:

Here's the wreath on our front door....I've also got wreaths with big red bows attached to our dormer windows as well as an evergreen garland with big red bows over the arched window on the front of our house...but I forgot to take pictures of those - sorry!

When you first walk into our home, you'll see these decorations in our foyer...my friend Stacey C. bought the adorable outdoorsman/hunter snowman for me...isn't he just so cute?!?!? (Thanks, again, Stacey!!)

Here's our Christmas tree...I decided to simplify and didn't get out all of our ornaments this year. I stuck with a simple theme and I think it turned out really pretty!

Here's a close-up photo of the sweet little angel tree topper that's been a part of our Christmas celebrations since our very first one together back in 1987:

Here's a close-up of one of my favorite tree decorations...a white dove and berry bird nest:

Here are our stockings....hung with great care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there....

I love this candy cane decoration that hangs above our fireplace!

Here are a couple of festive swags that I made to decorate our lamps...the one with the large red bell decorates the lamp in our foyer and the Santa swag decorates a lamp in our living room:

Here's the top of our coffee table:

The bottom shelf of the coffee table houses my favorite Christmas decoration of all...our Nativity set.
GOOFY SIDE NOTE: Joseph had a little mishap this year and got broken into 4 pieces. (Blame it on my clumsiness in unwrapping and dropping him on the tile in front of our fireplace!). But, thanks to Liquid Glass from CTMH, he was quickly repaired and you can't even tell that he was broken!!  That product is really MIRACULOUS!!!

This is the centerpiece on my dining room table....I need to pick up some more ornaments to finish filling up the vase:

I love decorating the tops of my kitchen cabinets for the seasons! Here's a little peek at some of the winter decorations I use:

I also like to change out the decorations seasonally on the baker's rack in my dining room...

Here's another one of my favorite little decorations...it's a fun tag book that my dear friend, Linda Hogan, made for me several years ago. Here's the story behind the little book...Linda has so many funny little sayings that we've coined them "Lindaism's". I teased her that she should write a "Lindaism" book, so lo-and-behold for Christmas one year she made a special little tag book for me chocked full of "Lindaism's"! I display it proudly at Christmas every year!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
