A Scrapbook Page a Day During the Month of May: No. 20

Hi, friends! If you've never used color-blocked cardstock for your scrapbook pages, it is a great base/starting place to bring a page together quickly! Here's an example of a color-blocked cardstock page that I created for some 4th of July pics:

The tags at the base of the layout aren't tags at all...they are raised shapes that were already embossed into the color-blocked cardstock! I just added red brads to the tops for a little extra pizzazz. I also added a metal frame around my journaling, added blue star brads, a wood-burned popsicle stick that says "Red * White * Blue" and a metal dog-tag that has the word "Liberty" stamped into it. The title letters and the number '4' were made using letter die cuts. This was a really easy and quick page to put together!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
